WHAT:

Aetna and the National Kidney Registry will hold a press conference to announce a new Aetna program to help health plan members facing kidney failure find a suitably matched donor. The program will also help Aetna members access accredited transplant facilities and receive special nurse support through Aetna’s Institutes of Excellence program. The Aetna Foundation will announce a related grant to support the National Kidney Registry’s work to facilitate life-saving transplants by encouraging living donors to register and help those in need of a kidney find a suitable match.
