Brigitte Netteshein, president of transformative markets for Aetna

Brigitte Nettesheim, president of transformative markets for Aetna, was recently featured on the Oliver Wyman Health podcast. Nettesheim speaks about Aetna’s strategy for joint venture partnerships and how our focus on value-based care will transform Aetna from an insurance company to a health company. To do that, Aetna is aiming to help members “achieve their life goals by achieving a state of health.”

“Changing that dynamic so that we’re thinking about, ‘What do I want my state of health to be and how can I achieve that? How can my community support me? How can my health care community support me?’” Nettesheim said on the podcast. “That’s where we want to be with Aetna and where we want to be with our (joint-venture) partners as well.”
